KARACHI: The Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF), along with other political leaders, has demanded a ban on Israeli players in the Olympic Games in Paris, saying that the illegitimate Zionist regime of Israel was continuing genocide of the Palestinian people for the past nine months.

In a joint statement, the PLF said that if the international community wanted to protect human rights, then the war criminals and killers of humanity like Israel must be punished.

It was the responsibility of the international human rights organisations to impose a complete ban on the Zionist regime of Israel in the 2024 Olympics, it added.

Besides PLF, the same demand was made by Jamaat-i-Islami leader Muslim Parvez, Majlis Wahdat -i-Muslimeen-Sindh President Allama Baqir Zaidi, Jamiat Ulema-i-Pakistan’s Allama Qazi Ahmad Noorani, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Israr Abbasi, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader Pirzada Azhar Ali Hamdani and others.
