Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi says the Middle East is going through “serious changes” because of the Israeli invasion of Gaza, adding that “humanity is absent”, Al Jazeera reports.
He accused Israel’s leaders of attempting to “impose forced displacement [of Palestinians] towards Egyptian territories”.
In the conflict “the conscience of humanity was absent and the international community remained silent, turning its face away from tens of thousands of innocent victims”, el-Sisi said in a televised address.
