MUZAFFARGARH: A rape case was registered in Jatoi tehsil’s Bet Mirhazar Khan police limits, where a 10-year-old boy was allegedly raped and blackmailed by the suspect who made objectionable videos of the child and shared them on social media.
The suspect lured the alleged rape survivor to a tubewell for a bath, where he assaulted him and recorded the incident. The videos were then used to blackmail the child.
The Bet Mirhazar police have registered a case against the suspect and are working to arrest him. The fresh case is part of a larger trend of increasing rape cases, and sharing of obscene videos on social media.
