Belgian, Jordanian and European Union missions have launched the “Call to Action for Palestinian Children in the West Bank and Gaza” at the United Nations, Al Jazeera reports.

The call for action involves five points, including immediate ceasefire in Gaza, respect for international human rights and humanitarian law in Gaza and the West Bank, end to “grave violations” against Palestinians children and “safe and unrestricted humanitarian access” in Gaza.

The missions have called on other UN member states to join the initiative as well.
