The Israeli military says it has targeted Hezbollah fighters and buildings, Al Jazeera reports.

The military said Israeli warplanes struck a Hezbollah observation post in the Kfar Kila area of southern Lebanon. Israeli forces also attacked Hezbollah fighters in the Taiba area.

The latest attacks come after UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres warned the “world cannot afford Lebanon to become another Gaza”.
