KARACHI: Policy on UAE e-visas

Published March 19, 2006

KARACHI, March 18: The immigration authorities of the Federal Investigation Agency and the representatives of airlines have evolved a policy for the passengers travelling on fax and e-visas to the United Arab Emirates.

Sources said that as per the policy, to be effected from April 1, the passengers obtaining visas on their own would need to get the original visa for the issuance of ticket and also require to present original visa before immigration staff for the purpose of departure. They said that in case a fax or e-visa is arranged by a travel agent, it has to be verified by the concerned travel agent. —Our Staff Reporter
