Israeli occupation forces detained 20 Palestinians, including a woman and former detainees, according to a joint statement by the Detainees’ Affairs Authority and the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society.

The detentions took place across various West Bank governorates, including Jenin, Nablus, Qalqilya, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Jerusalem, the statement said according to Wafa.

During these operations, Israeli forces carried out assaults and intimidated some of the detainees and their families, in addition to vandalising and destroying homes.

Since October 7, the total number of Palestinians arrested in the occupied West Bank has risen to over 8,975.

This figure includes individuals apprehended from their homes, at military checkpoints, those who surrendered under duress, and those taken hostage.

These statistics cover both those who remain in detention and those who have been subsequently released.
