GWADAR: Two brothers drowned in the Arabian Sea while fishing off the coast of Pasni in Gwadar district on Tuesday.

According to officials, three fishermen from the Kalmat area of Pasni went for fishing the previous night when their boat capsized in deep water.

Fellow fishermen managed to rescue one of them, but the two brothers could not be saved. Their bodies were later recovered by local fishermen.

Local fishermen have alleged that the fisheries department was timely informed, but their delayed response resulted in the loss of two lives.
