KARACHI: Girl commits suicide

KARACHI, March 17: A girl committed suicide by jumping off from the Natives Jetty Bridge on Friday morning. Police said the girl, 17, was fished out by some fishermen. She was taken to the Civil Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival. She was later identified as Shoma, a resident of Ranchore Line.

ACCIDENT: A young man died in a road accident in Korangi. Police said a milkman was sitting atop a pickup truck when he fell off the truck after losing balance. The victim identified as Sher Mohammad was crushed under the wheels of another vehicle coming from behind.
