HYDERABAD, March 16: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, on Thursday launched seven development projects of teaching institutes and departments. The projects will cost Rs95 million.

Vice-chancellor Mazharul Haq Siddiqui laid the foundation stone of the buildings.

The Higher Education Commission has released funds for the projects which include construction of a gymnasium hall and extension of the centre for health and physical education, department of zoology, department of physiology and the institute of commerce.

The vice-chancellor also laid the foundation stone of buildings of the institute of English language and literature and the institute of arts and design.

Project directors engineer Ishrat and engineer Javed briefed Mr Siddiqui about the schemes.
