LAHORE: The Lahore Museum is organising a one-day event on the occasion of the World Museum Day on Saturday (today).

A conference in accordance with this year’s theme of ‘Research and Education’ proposed by the International Council of Museums will be held at the Lahore Museum.

Talking to the media on Friday, Museum Director Nabila Irfan said: “To make the research on museum’s artifacts easier, the process of their digitisation has been initiated. The digitisation process will be completed by the end of this year.”

She said with regard to the World Museum Day, the Lahore Museum, in collaboration with Sana Durrani Studio, is organising a conference besides a paintings exhibition.
