LAHORE, March 15: The regional national hockey championship’s round at Hyderabad has been postponed till further orders, says a PHF press release on Wednesday.

The round was to be held from March 18 to 24. However, the regional round in Islamabad will be held from March 18 to 24.

The press release said the decision was taken as the elections of district hockey associations were in progress in Sindh.

APP adds: As many as 66 players reported on the opening day of trials at UBL Sports Complex to select two Karachi teams for National Inter-region southern zone hockey championship.

Olympian Hanif Khan, Kashif Jawwad, Nasim Mirza, Rahman Khan and Khalid Junior watched the trials. Trials will continue on Thursday, Karachi Hockey Association announced.
