DERA GHAZI KHAN: The divisional administration has decided to support the Pakistan Agricultural Storage & Services Corporation (Passco) for the purchase of wheat on the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Teams of divisional and district administration have been posted at Passco centers, says Commissioner Dr Nasir Mahmood Bashir.

Presiding over a meeting virtually, the commissioner said teams had been deployed at 32 Passco centers in Muzaffargarh and Layyah districts.

Counters have been activated at each center for relevant positions, where collection and record of farmers up to twelve and a half acres would be maintained.

He said issuance of gunny bags should be made transparent.

Facilities should be ensured for the farmers at the registration centers of Passco.
