DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Two people were killed and three others injured as clashes erupted between rival groups over a land dispute in Sheikh Sultan village of Tank district, a police official said on Monday.

He said as soon as the incident was reported the police reached the spot and shifted the injured and the deceased to a hospital.

The police registered a case and started further investigation.

Meanwhile, a young man was killed and two others were injured when a tanker and a motorcycle-rickshaw collided in the limits of Paroa police station on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Mehrban, 22, while rickshaw driver, Saeedullah, 53, and Sufyan Betanni, 18, were injured. The police registered a case against the unknown tanker driver on the report of Sufyan.
