The spokesperson for the Palestinian Authority (PA) presidency Nabil Abu Rudeineh has condemned ongoing settler attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, Al Jazeera reports.
In a statement carried by state news agency Wafa, Abu Rudeineh said the “crimes” committed by “terrorist militias” are nothing but an extension of Israel’s “genocide” against the Palestinian people.
Abu Rudeineh said he holds the Israeli government fully responsible for the attacks, which have significantly spiked since October 7.
He also called on the international community and the US administration to intervene and force Israel to “halt its crimes” in the West Bank and in Gaza.
