Israeli forces have fired tear gas canisters towards residential houses in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank, causing fire to break out in one of the homes, Al Jazeera reports citing Palestinian Wafa news agency.
Wafa cited local sources saying that a number of Israeli military vehicles stormed Beita with soldiers firing bullets, stun grenades and toxic tear gas.
According to the report, Palestinian civil defence was able to extinguish the fire in a house but part of it burned down.
