Giving someone a small present on any special occasion is the best way to express your warm sentiments. However, if the present is very small, such as a chain, bracelet, keychain, etc., you might not have a proper box for it, and this becomes truly frustrating to present and package it.

But leave all the stress aside and let’s create a charming paper gift pack in the shape of a strawberry. This fun and simple craft will be a delightful surprise for your special someone. Let’s create something truly special in no time!

Directions:

  1. Cut out a circle from red paper. A 6-inch diameter works well for carrying small items like chains, keychains, or candies, but you can make it larger with a larger diameter, picture 2.

  2. Fold the circle in half, then fold it in thirds, and then fold it in quarters; pictures 3, 4, and 5.

  3. Hold the quarter from the bottom, and cut a more rounded shape to the top so that when you open it, it forms a petal-like shape. Then, make a single punched hole in the rounded top; picture 6.

  4. Notice how the red circle has transformed into the shape of a flower, in picture 7.

  5. Cut out any two petals, picture 8.

  6. Join the gap by applying glue to one petal and then pasting it onto the other, see pictures 9 and 10.

  7. Insert the string through the holes, all the way around the flower. Tighten it, and pull the string carefully. Notice that the strawberry is coming into shape. You can put your present through its opening; see pictures 11 and 12.

  8. To make the strawberry leaves, cut a 1.5-inch diameter circle from green paper. Follow step number 2 to fold it, and then cut the top sides into the shape of a leaf; see pictures 13 and 14.

  9. After you have inserted your present inside the strawberry, pull the string. Make a hole in the centre of the leaves, then insert these leaves onto the string and make a knot or bow on the top, picture 15.

Isn’t this strawberry gift pack cute?
