Lawyers for Nicaragua have said Germany’s ongoing military aid makes it complicit in possible genocide, Al Jazeera reports.
Carlos Jose Francisco Argoello Gomez told the International Court of Justice, “Germany seems to not be able to differentiate between self-defence and genocide.”
He further argued, “Germany cannot invoke that Germany is in some state of necessity of its assistance for its defence and survival.”
