Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that if he decides to end the war without “an extensive attack on Rafah” to defeat Hamas “he will not have a mandate to continue serving as premier”, Al Jazeera reports.
The minister is a key member of Netanyahu-led coalition. Without Ben-Gvir party’s support, the prime minister would lose the majority in the Knesset.
