KARACHI, March 10: Habib Bank (HBL) cruised into semifinals of All-Pakistan Shaheed-i-Millat Liaquat Ali Khan soccer when they beat Wapda 4-2 on penalty shootout at Colony sports Football Club on Friday.

Talib gave Wapda lead in 35th minute. HBL could have equalised late in the first half had Shahid Saleem’s drive not struck the post.

The bankers finally levelled the score through Gulzar who slotted home two minutes from time, extending the game to penalty shootout.—APP
