KARACHI, March 10: Four ships carrying containers and to load rice are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where six ships, Swat, Chemroad Wing to unload crude oil and chemicals, QC Wisdom and Wan Hai-311 to unload and load containers, Lynx, BBC Gibraltar, to unload and load general cargo were berthed.

Sailing was also active as eight ships departed: They are: Kota Teguh, Corin Thaikos, QC Wisdom, Kuo Hung, Kota Wijaya, Mercs Ruhunu, Lynx and Lady Jasmine, while BBC Gibraltar, Phuong Dong-3, Hekifu, Swat, MOL Silver, Wan Hai-311, Chemroad Wing and Rainbow Spring are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.125m tons comprising 30,977 tons of export cargo and 94,327 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Iran Baabaei, Kota Teraju, with containers, Labbadi, to load rice and Iron Butterfly, with project cargo.
