BAJAUR: The education department officials on Saturday asked the schoolteachers to play their due role in making the ongoing enrolment campaign in Bajaur tribal district a success.

They made the call while speaking at the launch of a series of training workshops for the heads and senior teachers of government schools on the students learning outcomes and lesson plan held in Mamond tehsil, according to a statement issued from the office of the district education officer.

Headmasters, principals and senior teachers of about 100 schools participated in the daylong session.

Education department officials and experts informed the participants about the basic and modern techniques of class management, students learning outcomes and lesson plan.

They also informed the participants about the target to be achieved during the school enrolment campaign.

Describing the joint efforts of heads and senior teachers of schools vital for making the drive successful, the officials asked them to show their commitment to the enrolment drive.

The officials also asked the heads of schools to collect the data of all out-of-school children in their respective areas by April 15 to get them enrolled in their nearest school.
