LAHORE, March 8: Sana Javed’s century failed to save Lahore from 13-run defeat against Karachi in the second national women championship on Wednesday.

Sana scored 131-ball 108, but Lahore were all out for 242 chasing a target of 256. She slammed 12 fours and one six.

A fine opening stand of 93 by Kiran Balouch (71, 10 fours, 105 balls) and Urooj Khan (44, six fours, 65 balls) helped Karachi to pile up 255 for four wickets.
