BADIN, March 8: The Senior Member, Board of Revenue (BOR) Sindh, Anwar Hyder Zaidi, has said that revenue officials found tampering with revenue record of rights will face stern action including termination from service.

Talking with the revenue field staff here on Tuesday, he said that ‘Strong Rooms’ would be built in each taluka headquarter town to keep the record in safe custody as it was the property of the people and the state.

He said that the revenue record in Sindh was almost in a damaged condition for which a directorate of inspection and monitoring team was established with Mr Abdul Jabbar Abbasi as its head.

He said the vacant posts of tapedars were being filled through fresh appointments. He directed the DCO Badin, Aftab Ahmed Khatri, to set-up inspection branches in the district for the effective maintenance of the revenue record.
