KARACHI: Duststorm forecast

KARACHI, March 8: Dusty winds started blowing on Wednesday night across the city and the meteorological department forecast dust and thunderstorm for Thursday too. A met department official said that the westerly system approaching the city from Balochistan would prevail during the next 24 hours. The weather would be partly cloudy on Thursday with maximum temperature expected to remain between 28 and 30 degrees Centigrade and the minimum between 16 and 18 degrees Centigrade, added the forecast.

On Wednesday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 29.5 degrees Centigrade and the minimum temperature dropped to 19 degrees Centigrade with humidity at 31 per cent.
