MARDAN, March 8: The Sarhad College Teachers Association has condemned the publication of sacrilegious cartoons in some European newspapers.
A meeting of the association held at the degree college for boys here on Tuesday said that the blasphemous cartoons had hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the world.
The meeting was presided over by SCTA divisional president Prof Shah Zaman. The participants called upon the government to snap diplomatic ties with the countries where the cartoons were published.
The meeting also demanded of the Muslim countries to bring a resolution to the United Nation for the respect of religions.
