The PPP has announced its candidates, after approval by the party leadership, for the upcoming Senate elections, according to a press release issued by the party’s media cell.

For Sindh, the party has listed Kazim Shah, Ashraf Jatoi, Masroor Ahsan, Nadeem Bhutto, Sarfaraz Rajar, Dost Ali Jessar and for technocrats: Barrister Zameer Ghumro and Sarmad Ali.

Quratul Ain Marri and Rubina Qaimkhani were PPP candidates for the reserved seats for women meanwhile, Poonjo Bheel was the candidate for the minority seat.

The press release stated that Aimal Wali Khan, Jan Mohammad Buledi, Mir Changaiz Khan Jamali and Sardar Umer Gorgaij were party candidates for the Balochistan seat.

Bilal Mandokhel was the party’s candidate for the technocrat seat while Ishrat Brohi and Kiran Baloch were the candidates for the reserved seats for women.

It stated that the candidates for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and Islamabad were Rana Mehmoodul Hassan, Faiza Ahmed Malik and Rubina Khalid, respectively.
