Newly sworn-in Housing and Works Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada has directed the officials concerned to enhance transparency, and expedite the completion of ongoing housing projects, Radio Pakistan reports.

After assuming the charge of his ministry in Islamabad, the minister emphasised the importance of accountability and efficiency in the implementation of policies and programs.

The minister was briefed on the ongoing housing projects, challenges, and opportunities within the ministry, the report added.

Pirzada also stressed the need for innovative and sustainable solutions to ensure the development of high-quality housing, infrastructure, and works projects.
