Majid, Farhan in main round

ISLAMABAD, March 7: Majid Khan and Farhan Mahboob were among the four qualifiers for the main round of the $25,000 Chief of the Army Staff International squash championship on Tuesday.

Also joining the main draw starting on Wednesday were Safeerullah Khan and Naveed Atlas.

Majid knocked out Bilal Zaman 11-8, 11-9, 11-10 while Farhan defeated Farrukh Zaman 11-10, 4-11, 11-7, 11-5 in matches at the Mushaf Squash Complex.

The victory put Majid in a clash with Aamir Atlas Khan with Farhan up against Mansoor Zaman in first round games.

Safeerullah’s victim was Shahnawaz whom he beat 4-11, 11-10, 11- 8, 11-6 and Naveed edged Adil Atlas 11-7, 11-6, 10-11, 11-10.
