KARACHI, March 7: Six ships carrying palm oil, steel coils and general cargo are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was active where five ships, Orient Independence, Hanjin Busan, to unload and load containers, Hekifu, to load fish, Lady Jasmine, to load molasses, and Johar to offload crude oil, were berthed.

Three ships, Bunga Delima, Sagamore and Shalamar departed on Tuesday, while Kota Medesa, Johar and Altius are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was modest where a total tonnage of 84,222 tons comprising 30,375 tons of export cargo and 53,847 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Chemroad Wing, with 10,000 tons of palm oil, Pelagos, with steel coils, Kota Wajaya, Hyundai Sprinter, and Kuo Hung, with containers, and Iron Butterfly, with project cargo.
