Bishop Azad Marshall, the president of Bishop Church of Pakistan, has congratulated newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on his ascendancy to the role.

In a post on X, Bishop Marshall said, “As the leader of a minority community, I extend my heartfelt wishes for your journey ahead.

“It is my earnest hope that under your stewardship, our nation will see the restoration of Jinnah’s vision for Pakistan — a beacon of prosperity, progress, and unity, where every community thrives in harmony,” he added.
