Israel’s military said that a 25-year-old major and a 24-year-old captain with the Givati Brigade were killed in fighting in northern Gaza, Al Jazeera reports.
Seven soldiers from the same unit were also seriously wounded and evacuated from Gaza for medical treatment, the military said on social media.
