Former human rights minister Shireen Mazari has termed President Alvi’s decision to not convene a session of the National Assembly before the house was complete a “logical position”.
In a post on X, Mazari asked: “How is President Alvi’s demand that the House be complete before he can summon its sitting — a logical position — being seen as a grave constitutional breach when the entire political process has not been in accordance with the Constitution!”
