Zero tolerance for police high-handedness: CM Maryam

Newly elected Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has asserted that there will be zero tolerance for police high-handedness.

In her victory speech at the Punjab Assembly, she said that a recent such incident, which took place in Taxila over the weekend, will be investigated.

On Saturday, a cop was suspended after a video of him slapping an elderly woman and pushing her to the ground went viral.
