TOBA TEK SINGH: A minor girl employed as a domestic help had allegedly been tortured by her employer and his two sisters to death in Nemat Colony No 2 locality of Faisalabad.

According to the first information report (FIR) registered under sections 302 and 34 of the the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), complainant Ghulam Murtaza of Chak 229-RB, Makkuana, said his daughter Ayesha Bibi (11) was employed as a domestic help in the house of Fazalur Rehman for the last four months.

He said his wife had met Ayesha at her employer’s house a month ago and till then their daughter was fine.

The complainant added that on Feb 23 Rehman visited his house and informed him that his daughter was admitted to the district headquarters hospital where she died.

Murtaza said when he went to the hospital to collect his daughter’s body, he noticed multiple torture marks on it.

He alleged that the suspect, Rehman, and his sisters, Sunila Bibi and Rahila Bibi, had severely tortured Ayesha, leaving her critically injured and she later succumbed to her injuries at the DHQ hospital.

Police arrested the suspects and registered the FIR.

Meanwhile, City Police Officer (CPO) retired Capt Muhammad Ali Zia has ordered Madina Town SP to inquire into the matter on merit and submit a report.

SHOT DEAD: A young car driver was shot dead by two persons on Saturday at Rakh Branch Canal bridge near Chak 204 RB, Faisalabad.

As per Rescue 1122 officials, Zain (17) was driving a car, when two unidentified men opened fire on him at the canal bridge.

As a result, he got critically injured and lost control over the car that hit a biker.

Both injured persons were shifted to to the DHQ hospital where, Zain succumbed to his bullet injuries, while the biker, identified as Azam (40), was being treated for his wounds.

BUS ATTACKED: More than two dozen people allegedly attacked and damaged a bus of a textile mills near Chak 338-JB, Gojra, on Saturday.

According to Nawan Lahore police, complainant Javed, admin officer of the textile mills, said in the FIR that the mills’ bus had gone to Chak 338-RB to drop labourers.

When the bus was returning from the village, some locals led by the suspect, Iftikhar Ahmed, attempted to board it.

On being admonished by the driver, they along with more than 20 others attacked the bus using wooden bars and bricks and damaged it. The attackers also tortured the driver and fled away.

GIRL ABDUCTED: Five persons allegedly abducted an 18-year-old girl, Shabbana Bibi, from Chak 97-JB, Gojra, on Saturday.

Complainant Hameeda Bibi stated in the FIR that accused Usama and his four accomplices arrived at her house when her daughter was alone and abducted her at gunpoint.

BOY DIES: A child died after being run over by a tractor-trolley near Chak 70-JB, Mansooran, on Jhang Road, Faisalabad, on Friday night.

Rescue 1122 officials say that Ghulam Murtaza of Shahpur, Gojra, was on a motorcycle with his wife and their four-year-old son, Qasim, when the bike was hit by a tractor-trolley. As a result, child fell on to the road and was run over by the tractor-trolley.
