Jamaat-i-Islami leader Sirajul Haq has demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja and the formation of an independent commission to probe the irregularities in the Feb 8 elections.
“The nation wants the CEC to come before the public, apologise and provide an answer to where was the money for elections were spent,” he said.
Talking about the commission, Siraj said it should include members of all the political parties.
