NAWABSHAH: Naushahro Feroze police on Monday booked National Peoples Party chairman and leader of Grand Democratic Alliance, Ghulam Murtaza Jatoi, his son and party leaders under sections of Anti-Terrorism Act.

The FIR was lodged at Moro police station on a complaint filed by Hashim Zardari under Sections 324, 114, 147, 148, 149, 337H2 and 7 ATA against the NPP chief, his son Bilawal and personal guards and party leaders Asif Rahujo, Imran Chand, Lala Atiq Pathan, Hasan Jatoi, Noor Hasan Chandio, Rizwan Jumani, and 20 unidentified workers.

Sources said that a heavy contingent of police reached Jatoi House in New Jatoi area but it had to return after workers and supporters of NPP and GDA held protest before them.

The case followed a clash between the workers of Pakistan Peoples Party and GDA on the election day in which three PPP workers had suffered injuries.
