Muhammadi, KGS grab trophies

KARACHI, March 2: Karachi Grammer School (KGS) and Muhammadi Girls Secondary School (MGSS) Malir clinched the AKU basketball and throwball trophies on Wednesday.

Afak Nazim spearheaded KGS to 64-41 over Defence Authority School. Afak contributed 26. Aneel Karim (11) Sami Noor (10) gave good support to Afak. Levesh Lakhani and Anas Aman excelled for losers with 16 points each.

MGSS showed brilliant display as they came from behind to beat Lyceum School 15-10, 6-15, 13-15, 15-10. Shanila Liaquat Ali and Navroz Mansoor played key role in their team’s victory. Palwasha Bashir, Shafaq Sajid performed well for losers.—APP
