MARDAN: ANP central vice-president Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has resigned from the party office owing to ANP’s dismal performance in the Feb 8 elections.

In a statement issued here on Friday, the former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister stated that he had accepted the responsibility for ANP’s failure to do well in the elections.

He acknowledged that that people did not express their trust over them.

He also congratulated his political rivals, who succeeded in the polls.
