LARKANA, March 1: A man and a woman were killed on Wednesday in the Kariyo Ganhwar Jamali village on the outskirts of Shahdadkot on the pretext of kar-kari.
Abdul Wahab Jamali allegedly shot dead his wife, Zarina, and cousin, Shahnawaz Jamali.
His father, Mohammad Ali, registered an FIR against him. He said the victims were innocent.
SUICIDE: A man, Shakil Buriro, 25, and a woman, Abdia Buriro, committed suicide in Taluka Hospital Colony, Warah, on Tuesday night.
Sources said Shakil and Abdia wanted to marry but their parents arranged their marriage somewhere else.
Buriro consumed insecticide and died. Sources said that after hearing about his death, Abida, a health visitor, electrocuted herself.
PROTEST: Heirs of Hajan Gopang, who was killed in Saeedodero near Naduero on Saturday night, demonstrated outside the DIGP office here on Wednesday.
They demanded arrest of the killers.
