US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has said that there cannot be free and fair elections in Pakistan when “one of the opposition parties has been criminalised”.
In a post on X, she recalled raising concerns about human rights in Pakistan in November, adding that “things have only gotten worse”.
The just solution lies in India addressing the issue through a trilateral dialogue involving the legitimate representatives of the Kashmiri people and Pakistan.
