QUETTA, March 1: Chief of Jamhoori Watan Party Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti has said that the government is deploying more troops in Sui and other areas of Dera Bugti district to continue its operation against the Baloch people in the area.

Talking to newsmen over satellite phone from an unknown place on Wednesday night, he said that shelling and bombing were continue in various areas of Dera Bugti town and other areas.

He said that a big concentration of regular troops had been seen in Lehri area and after staying a few days in the area they had moved northwards to blockade Dera Bugti and Kohlu areas. He also said that another 40 to 45 vehicles of regular army had arrived in the Sui township.

Nawab Bugti said that although the most of the people of Dera Bugti, Siah-Aab and other areas had moved to other places, but security forces were still attacking the areas.

He said that the militants forces had changed the pattern of their fighting and now they were engaged in a classic guerilla war.

They wait for their targets and attack them whenever they get an opportunity.
