The PTI leadership has taken action against its candidate Jamshed Dasti and suspended his party membership due to violations in the election campaign.
Dasti, the candidate for the PP-270 constituency, violated party policy by supporting his wife, Nazia Jamshed, as a PTI candidate in NA-176, despite Nawabzada Ahmad Khan being the designated PTI nominee.
Dasti claimed that Ahmad Khan is supporting the PPP candidate for NA-176, Nawabzada Iftikhar. However, Nawabzada Ahmad Khan clarified that Nazia Jamshed is not a PTI candidate and he is a party nominee.
