The UK and its allies wish to lay out plans for what a future officially recognised Palestinian state would look like, foreign secretary David Cameron has told Arab representatives in London, Al Jazeera reports.
“We have a responsibility there because we should be starting to set out what a Palestinian state would look like, what it would comprise, how it would work and crucially… we with allies will look at the issue of recognising a Palestinian state, including at the United Nations,” he said.
Cameron told a reception of Arab ambassadors at Westminster that this could help “make this process irreversible”.
