QUETTA: Former chief minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani claimed on Monday that PML-N will emerge as the largest party in Balochistan on Feb 8.

“It has always served the land when it came into the power,” he said while addressing a public meeting in conjunction with the party’s election campaign in Uthal area of Lasbela district.

“We have never indulged in bullying and politics of money and always took steps to improve the future of the people of Lasbela and will continue to serve the people in future,” he added.

“Our ancestors dedicated themselves to serving the people of Lasbela, and this is why the residents of this area consistently place their trust in us due to the evident impact of our services,” he said, adding that the bond of PML-N with the area is built on genuine affection and not merely on votes.

Mr Kamal asserted that the PML-N has presented its election manifesto, whereas opponents lack a concrete plan and programme for the well-being of people. “Their communication is limited to verbal statements.”

The former CM , emphasising the importance of education, encouraged the youth of Lasbela to focus on their education, recognising it as the key to progress. He highlighted his that durin his tenure as the CM, he maximised efforts to provide optimal educational facilities.

“We want to see the people of Lasbela educated, for which the Jam family established large educational institutions in Lasbela, including Lasbela University, Polytechnic Institute and hundreds of schools and colleges,” he claimed.

“Under our administration, we implemented the Green Tractors scheme, offering farmers in Lasbela the opportunity to acquire tractors at a discounted rate, effectively benefiting the local agricultural community,” he said.

He emphasised that had our government not continued, substantial projects initiated in Lasbela would have faced interruptions.

Mr Alyani expressed confidence public will see through the completion of these projects.
