The Palestine Red Crescent has termed the situation outside the Al-Amal Hospital, which is under Israeli siege, tragic.
In a post on X, it said the facility was dealing with three martyrs and four wounded persons — all of whom were displaced individuals seeking shelter at the hospital.
The government no longer has the budgetary space to continue carrying hundreds of billions of rupees in untargeted subsidies while the power sector itself remains trapped in circular debt, inefficiencies, theft and under-recovery.
