LAHORE: PPP Senator Palwasha Khan said the PDM government saw its downfall because of people like Marriyum Auranzeb who was an information minister.

Addressing a press conference, the PPP senator took on the PML-N information secretary for criticising PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto for allegedly using harsh language against the PNL-N leadership.

Palwasha Khan accused the PML-N of fanning provincialism. “The PML-N is raising objections on Mr Bilawal contesting from Lahore. These people are fanning provincialism,” she said and accused the Sharifs of looting money from Pakistan to build Avenfield apartments in the UK.

She said the PML-N has failed to present its manifesto and was only giving an impression that ‘sadi gal ho gai hai (our matters are settled with the quarters concerned) to come to power.

Meanwhile, Bilawal’s sister Aseefa Bhutto inaugurated a central party office at NA-127 and urged the people of the constituency to vote for him.
