New long-range aircraft arrives

ISLAMABAD, Feb 27: PIA’s new aircraft, Boeing 777-200LR, carrying 293 passengers, made an inaugural flight from Seattle to Islamabad via Manchester on Monday.

The Boeing Company has so far handed over four aircraft under a deal for six planes signed with the airline. Another 777-200LR aircraft will be handed over to PIA next month. It can fly 22.45 hours non-stop. It has a seating capacity of around 325 passengers.
