Musa Abu Marzouk, a member of the Hamas political bureau, has said the movement does not want to keep the Israeli captives and is seeking a new prisoner exchange deal.

“In the end, Israel will be forced to make a deal, because it failed during more than a hundred days of war to recover any prisoners by force,” AJ reports quoting Abu Marzouk’s conversation with Russian Sputnik news agency. “It will either take them back through a deal with the movement or take them as bodies.”

He also said that Hamas appreciates the Houthi group’s support of the Palestinian people, and all efforts aimed at ending Israel’s conflict in Gaza.
