A 10-month-old baby rescued from the rubble after an Israeli air strike in Rafah last month has died, Al Jazeera reports citing NBC.

Tala Rouqa was pulled from the rubble alive on December 28 in a dramatic rescue witnessed by NBC News.

Tala’s grieving father, Ahmed Rouqa told NBC News that his daughter had died from her wounds nearly three weeks after the air raid that killed 10 members of their family.

“She suffered fractures and wounds in her legs. And she was taking medicines,” Rouqa was quoted as saying.

“There were complications from the blow. Praise to Allah, she joined her siblings. Praise Allah for everything.”
